Early treatment of burst mass injury or disaster injury

Abstract:

The burst mass injury, disaster injury is a mass event which refers to large number of people hurt in the absence of preparation at the same time, in the same place, caused by the same reason, it is characterized by its suddenness, large number of casualties, complex of injuries and difficulty in treatment. In recent years, various types of incidents continue to occur, global annual death toll is in the tens of millions more. For this type of disaster medical rescue, the authors believe that the professional and technical strength should be reached the disaster site to assist triage and offer first aid; regional disaster relief network and communication networks should be established; the details of field first aid and early treatment in transit should be recorded; discrimination injuries again after admission, the injuries should be reviewed and reassessed frequently and continuously; the critically injured should be implemented of special group management, response to individual; early psychological intervention should be implemented, medical resources reserve capacity should be promoted in the pre-disaster stage. The above measures can better deal with unexpected disasters, improve the treatment effect and quality.
