Research on the field treatment technology of trauma (burns, war) wounds shock

Abstract:

Since the 21th century, emergency medical rescue for local conflicts, terrorist attacks, major accidents/disasters and other public emergencies has become the national strategy of all countries in the world. It is one of important part of emergency medical rescue work to treat the batch shock casualty. Therefore, it is of great social, medical and military significance to study the emergency treatment technology of wound and burn shock in battlefield or at the scene of the disaster without the condition of intravenous infusion. Such shock treatment techniques mainly includes oral rehydration, intraperitoneal infusion, bone marrow cavity infusion, application of tourniquet, antishock trousers, hemostatic drugs and dressings, acupuncture points against shock, anti-shock and drugs for life support, field analyestic technique, blood products and rehydration composition, etc. This paper mainly introduces the main research progress of oral rehydration, drugs for life support and cytoprotective and acupuncture points against shock, and some research work in these fields that author′s group has done in recent years.
