Abstract:

As economy developing and population aging rapidly, chronic refractory wounds on the body surface have become a tremendous burden to the development of national health and economy. The National Health Commission issued a document to promote discipline system construction of wound repair departments. Nearly 100 national experts in wound repair field have finally formulated the professional standards for wound repair specialist, after asking for opinions and suggestions extensively and performing discussions and revisions many times. The standard focuses on regulating the professional and skilled requirements, as well as special training of wound repair specialists. The consensus has been confirmed on the definition of wound repair specialist, the basic qualities of practitioners, examinations, assessments and certifications, etc., and being hoped to make further improvements through publishing.
