Progress in prevention, treatment and nursing care of diabetic foot

Abstract:

Diabetic foot is one of the most common and serious complications of diabetes. The characteristics of diabetic foot are long course of disease, difficult to cure, high psychological burden and high disability rate, and it takes a serious threat to the quality of patients′ life and the family economy. Early detection, early prevention, early treatment and effective nursing are important for the prognosis of diabetic foot. Early detection and identification of risk factors of diabetic foot, the education for diabetic patients and family members, and the predictive nursing work are all should be do to reducing the occurrence of diabetic foot; Fully understand the treatment model of diabetic foot, give standardized diagnosis and treatment to diabetic foot can singnificantly improve the cure rate and reduce the risk of amputation of uiabetic foot; To do psychological nursing intervention in diabetic foot patients, arouse the enthusiasm of diabetic foot patients with active treatment to prevent the occurrence and strengthen the standard management of diabetic foot, and then fundamentally improve the prognosis of diabetic patients. This article reviews the prevention, treatment and nursing of diabetic foot.
