Abstract:

In China, people over 60 years of age are called the elderly. With the aggravation of aging of society, the proportion of elderly patients in burn patients is increasing year by year, the same as the high case fatality rate. Wound treatment is the key to the treatment of the elderly with burns, however, active surgery or conservative dressing treatment remains controversial. Practice-based evidence for clinical practice improvement (PBE-CPI) is a methodology of clinical research, which can be used for the wound treatment of elderly with burns, is expected to further clarify the elderly burn wound treatment program.
