Abstract:

Although people have a great understanding of the safety knowledge of electricity, electrical burn of the wrist still occurs. Once the high-voltage electrical burn of the wrist occurs, it is often damaged, the rate of amputation and the disability are very high, and even life is endangered. It is one of the key and difficult points in the surgical treatment of burn, and it is also a great challenge to the surgeon of burn. This paper systematically reviews the classification and early diagnosis, early treatment including early fasciotomy for decompression, early debridement, early transplant of tissue flap with abundant blood supply of high-voltage electrical burn of the wrist. The time of early debridement and the scope of debridement are discussed. The importance of vascular injury treatment for electrical burn of wrist is emphasized. Some new techniques and methods for wrist electrical burn treatment are summarized. It is clear that the treatment of wrist electrical burn wounds is the foundation, and more importantly, early rehabilitation and functional reconstruction.
