Abstract:

Oligopeptides are intermediate products in the process of protein decomposition into amino acids. Oligopeptides not only have the nutritional support of proteins, but also have a strong role in regulating antioxidant and immune functions. In this article, the regulatory effects of oligopeptides of animal, plant and microbial orgin on the immune system were discussed, and the function of improving immune system and defense against coronavirus infection were analyzed. The aim is to provide nutritional support for the prevention and treatment of Coronavirus Disease 2019(COVID-19) by making more reasonable use of oligopeptides from different sources and properties to produce complex peptide products, and more effectively improve human immune function.
