Research progress on pathogenic mechanism of Vibrio vulnificus

Abstract:

Vibrio vulnificus, as an opportunistic pathogen, is common in people with chronic liver disease, diabetes and other basic diseases. The history of seafood exposure is a major feature of Vibrio vulnificus infection. Because of its rapid progress and high mortality, Vibrio vulnificus has increasingly attracted clinical attention. The purpose of this paper is to review the pathogenic mechanism of Vibrio vulnificus infection, and to provide new ideas for clinical diagnosis, treatment and prevention.
