Research progress of nursing care of background pain in children with burns

Abstract:

Background pain of burns will not only affect the outcome and prognosis of burn patients, but also bring a series of psychological and social problems. Children are at high risk of burns. Because their psychological development and cognitive level are not mature, it is particularly difficult to diagnose and treat with burn children. This paper summarizes the characteristics of the background pain of burns in children, non drug interventions and the treatment and prevention of the complications during the therapeutic process. Analysis shows that non drug interventions for background pain, such as wound treatment, environmental maintenance, distraction, pain knowledge education and psychological intervention, are effective, safe and easy to operate in relieving children′s pain. According to the characteristics of children, the individualized nursing caring model can alleviate the background pain of children to the greatest extent and promote their physical and mental health development.
