Abstract:

Skin avulsion injury forms a complex and difficult wound. Clinically, debridement and dynamic avulsion flap are used in situ, and the wound is gradually repaired with the help of other auxiliary treatments. Skin avulsion is often secondary to infection, and the treatment strategy is based on the injury site and the vitality of the avulsed flap. However, reliable methods for early and accurate prediction of avulsion flap vitality and defining the scope of necrosis are lacking. Molecular imaging techniques offer new diagnostic directions, and the technologies will translate into clinical applications. This paper discusses the mechanism of tissue necrosis of skin avulsion flap, summarizes the research progress in early vitality assessment and repair of avulsion flap, and provides a reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
