Abstract:

Platelet-rich plasma(PRP) is enriched by a range of grow factors, chemokines, cytokines, and other plasma proteins, which can suppress inflammation and promote tissue regeneration. The interest in the application of PRP in rheumatology has recently increased. This paper reviews the research progress of PRP in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, sjogren′s syndrome, systemic sclerosis, connective tissue disease-associated intractable skin ulcers and so on. In the future, more scholars need to actively try the efficacy of PRP in other rheumatic diseases. At the same time, PRP combined with mesenchymal stem cells has a great application prospect in refractory rheumatic diseases.
