Abstract:

Compared with proteins and amino acids, oligopeptides have unique functional properties. In this paper, functional oligopeptide enrichment methods with different biological activities were firstly discussed from the perspective of functional application. Bioactive peptides were divided into immunomodulatory peptides, antioxidant peptides, cosmetic peptides, blood pressure regulating peptides, liver protecting peptides, blood lipid regulating peptides, and antithrombus peptide. The research on the synergistic effect of bioactive peptides with different sources and functions will certainly promote the development and utilization of compound peptides with higher quality, higher efficacy and wider scope of action, so as to benefit the society.

Key words: Immunomodulation, Biological availability, Amino acids, essential, Oligopeptides, Antioxidation
