Abstract:

Fibronectin type I structural module 1-5 (1-5FNⅠ) has a variety of extracellular matrix molecule recognition and binding sites, and plays a role in physiological processes, such as cell adhesion and migration. In this paper, the position and structure of 1-5FNⅠ and its interaction with extracellular matrix molecules are reviewed, and the application prospect of 1-5FNⅠ in the repair and regeneration of peripheral nerve injury is discussed.

Key words: Fibronectin type I structural module 1-5, Binding sites, Integrins, Peripheral nerve injuries
