Abstract:

Pediatric burn can cause severe physical and psychological injury, especially in children with extensive burns with deep Ⅱ degrees or more, and the incidence of organ dysfunction in late stages is higher. At present, the level of burn treatment in China has been in the top worldwide, but the (level of) rehabilitation treatment after burns is still in its infancy and approaches in clinical settings are still lack of unified standards. This summary introduces the early treatment and epidemiological studies of pediatric burns, as well as the rehabilitation treatment of pediatric burns, including rehabilitation therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, play therapy and music therapy and reviews these five categories, in order to develop a reasonable rehabilitation program for pediatric burns.
