Xenogeneic (allogeneic) biological materials and wound repair

Abstract:

In recent years, the rapid development of xenogeneic (allogeneic) biological materials which have provided important treatment approaches for burn, trauma and various acute and chronic wound makes the huge contributions to the restore the tissue. This paper introduces the application of xenogeneic (allogenic) biological materials in wound repair and applications as dermal substitutes; meanwhile it analyzes and summarizes the current development status and research progress in the field of wound repair.
