Abstract:

Acute and chronic wounds seriously affect the quality of life of patients. How to promote acute wound healing and prevent its transformation into chronic wounds, and how to achieve complete healing of chronic wounds is a continuous concern for medical professionals. Based on the "wet wound healing theory" , technology lipid hydrocolloid (TLC) can effectively reduce patient pain, improve wound healing speed, and reduce the frequency of dressing changes. In this paper, we review the research on the effects and mechanisms of TLC at home and abroad, and discuss the progress of TLC in promoting wound healing from three aspects: introduction, in vitro effects and related mechanisms, and clinical effects, so as to provide new ideas for further application of TLC.
