Abstract:

Burn surgery is faced with many complex wound repair. On the one hand, deep burn wounds have not been significantly reduced, on the other hand, there are more and more complex and refractory wounds. Most of the complex wounds still need to be repaired by various skin flaps. Third, the development of flap surgery is rapid. Therefore, burn surgeons should further strengthen the study and research of skin flaps. In this paper, the necessity of skin flap study for burn surgeons, the brief history of flap surgery development, about reconstructive ladder, the consideration of flap selection, the indications of skin flaps repair, and the skin flaps repair for different parts of wound are introduced in detail. The development of microsurgical flap technology has been steadily moving forward, and it is of epoch-making significance. With the progress of science and technology, repair and reconstruction surgeons, including burn surgeons, can use various flap technologies in wound repair, especially in the fields of free-style perforator flap, super microsurgery, flap prelamination, flap prefabrication and robot technology. More outstanding achievements will be made in this respect.
