Concentrated growth factor and its application progress in promoting the repair of injured tissue

Abstract

Abstract:

Concentrated growth factor(CGF)is a special form of platelet concentrate products, which is obtained through a specific whole blood differential centrifugation procedure. Growth factors have been used in the repair of tissue defects for many years, and CGF has received extensive attention in tissue injury repair field because of its richness in a variety of growth factors. This article reviews the development history, mechanism, application in the repair of various tissue injuries, current deficiencies and future development of CGF.
